Lash Botox/ Lash Lift

Please note this treatment is for ages 16 years and above. For those 16-17 years old we require signed parental consent in the form of an email or written letter at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.

Precare:

  • Come to your appointment with clean lashes (if possible avoid eye-make up for 24 hours prior to your appointment)

  • Take out contact lenses prior to arrival to your appointment

  • Stop use of any lash serum/ conditioner at least 48 hours before your appointment.

  • Do not spray tan 48 hours before your lash appointment

Aftercare:

The first 24 hours

Lash lifts take approximately 24 hours to fully set in place, so for the first 24 hours:

  • Do not get your lashes wet (no vigorous exercise).

  • Don’t resume using a lash serum/ conditioner for 48 hours AFTER your appointment.

  • Avoid contact with steam (sauna, facial steamer etc.).

  • Do not wear mascara or curl your lashes.

  • Avoid touching lashes; no rubbing.

Additional aftercare tips

  • Avoid waterproof mascara for a minimum 3 days as removal can be harsh and therefore weaken the lift.

  • Use oil-free eye make-up remover to make the tint last longer (however, this has no effect on the lift).

  • Regular use of a lash conditioning serum (e.g. Lash Conditioning Serum, which can be purchased at our salon) is recommended to keep your lashes well nourished as well as promoting growth for volume and length in your lashes between appointments.

Brow Lamination

Please note this treatment is for ages 16 years and above. For those 16-17 years old we require signed parental consent in the form of an email or written letter at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.

Precare:

  • Come with clean brows and skin to ensure we catch every hair

  • No spray tans for 48 hours prior to your brow appointment

Aftercare

Brows take approximately 24 hours to fully set in place, so for the first 24 hours:

  • Do not get your brows wet.

  • No make-up around the brow area

  • Don’t touch your brows at all and leave the oil applied to your brows on for at least 24 hours

  • After 72 hours natural oils such as castor/ argan/ coconut oil should be used 2-3 times per week to ensure your brows do not dry out from the lamination solution

  • Avoid excess heat, swimming, saunas, working out for 24-48 hours as these activities will cause brow hairs to frizz, curl or change shape of the lamination. The tidier they are kept, the longer they will last you.

  • Do not apply Retin-A, AHA’s, Glycolic Acids, citric acids or exfoliates around the Brow area for the first 72 hours.

LED Therapy

Precare:

In preparation for your LED Phototherapy treatment, all make-up and skin care products including sunscreen should be removed to allow absorption of beneficial light into the skin. For optimum results, exfoliation prior to the treatment helps to remove dead skin cells which may reflect the light. For enhanced results a topical serum may be applied by your skin specialist.

Post-treatment:

  • Apply recommended skin care products which will include an SPF protection for day-time only

  • Make-up CAN be applied immediately following LED therapy. However, we recommend the use of mineral based or non-comedogenic formulations that allow the skin to breathe for optimum results.

  • Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration levels and aid the lymphatic system to eliminate toxins.

*In the unlikely even that any adverse reaction occurs following treatment, please contact your skin care professional within 24 hours for advice
